Challenger® is a biodegradable alternative to hazardous solvent-based cleaners that can stand up to any residential or commercial cleaning task. Challenger is available in convenient spray bottles, as well as cost effective concentrated containers that can be diluted to the appropriate strength. Water-based, yet more effective than many solvent-based cleaners, Challenger will not harm plants or foliage. The following is a list of the many cleaning applications that Challenger can help you tackle.
INTERIOR SURFACES
Tile and Linoleum Floors
For tile and linoleum floors, a solution of 25% Challenger to 75% water is recommended. If the floors are waxed, test the solution in a small area to make certain the wax is not being removed. To clean, as wells as remove wax from the floors, strengthen the solution by up to 50% and rinse thoroughly.
Walls
Wash walls with a solution of 10% Challenger to 90% water. Walls with extensive amounts of grease such as restaurant kitchens will require a stronger mixture of up to 50% Challenger to 50% water. Challenger is ideal as a wall wash prior to painting and requires no rinsing!
Desks, Tables, Vinyl Chairs and Filing Cabinets
To clean extremely dirty desks, chairs and tables, a solution of 50% Challenger to 50% water is recommended. Rinse with water after applying Challenger. For cleaning maintenance, a mild solution of 1 ounce of Challenger to 15 ounces of water will suffice. No rinsing is necessary. If using on wood surfaces, use a milder solution of 20% Challenger to 80% water. Be sure to rinse the surface with a damp cloth. Always test Challenger on wood surfaces to make certain the finish isn’t being compromised.
Windows
10% Challenger to 90% water, Do not rinse.
Sinks and Showers
Spray Challenger full strength directly on the surface. Allow solution to sit for 1 to 2 minutes then rinse with warm or cold water.
Fireplace Doors
Spray Challenger full strength directly on the surface. Allow to sit for 1 to 2 minutes then rinse with warm water.
Concrete Basement and Garage Floors
Use Challenger full strength on concrete surfaces. Allow to sit for 5 to 10 minutes then flush with a pressure washer or hose.
Magic Marker Spots
Spray with a solution of 50% Challenger to 50% Water. Use a sponge and rinse with water.
Carpeting
Test Challenger on carpeting before using.
EXTERIOR SURFACES
Concrete Surfaces
Use Challenger full strength on driveways and sidewalks. Allow to sit for 5 to 10 minutes then flush with a pressure washer or hose using warm or hot water.
Aluminum Siding
Spray with a solution of 25% Challenger to 75% water. Rinse with water using a pressure washer or hose. Always test Challenger on siding before using.
Outdoor Furniture(composite materials, not wood)
Spray furniture with a solution of 50% Challenger to 50% water. Rinse thoroughly by hand or with a hose.
Garbage Cans and Dumpsters
Spray Challenger full strength or dilute to a 75% Challenger and 25% water solution. Rinse with water using a pressure washer or hose.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
Heavy Equipment, Trucks, Forklifts and Air Compressors
Use a solution of 25% Challenger to 75% water then rinse thoroughly. On Engines, use Challenger full strength and allow to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Flush with water.
Warehouse Floors
Use Challenger full strength on concrete. Allow to sit for 5 to 10 minutes and then flush with a pressure washer or hose.
Air Conditioning Coils
Spray with a solution of 50% Challenger to %0% water then flush with water.
Restaurant Filters
Spray Challenger full strength and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Flush with hot water using a pressure washer. If the filters are extremely greasy, spray Challenger on the filters and place in a plastic bag or container for 1 hour before flushing with water.
