Great on old composite deck

Turned out very well on a 15 year old composite deck. Color was lighter than we expected for Dark Walnut but still great. The oil soaks into old composite like a sponge so used more stain than expected with one coat

Very satisfied

I chose this stain based on the positive reviews I read online. I used it on a previously unstained deck of pressure treated wood about 1 1/2 years old. The stain was extremely easy to use and to apply - I used a 2 gallon hand pump sprayer followed up with a roller with 1/2” nap. The coverage was excellent and very uniform in appearance. I would certainly use it again and recommend it. In accordance with the instructions, I bought a moisture meter online and made sure that the moisture content of the deck boards was less than 12%.

Easy to use and color as advertised

This was my first outdoor staining project and the Ready Seal tag line of "good proof" definitely holds up. I applied a thin layer it spread out evenly and left a smooth looking finish. I even oversaturated an area by mistake and the next day I was still able to wipe off the excess and it still had the same beautiful finish.
