Spring has arrived! The weather is getting warmer, flowers are in bloom, trees are filling with lush green leaves — color us inspired. Maybe it’s Spring fever or maybe we’re simply tired of looking at the same walls after a year of mostly staying home, but it’s feeling like the perfect time for a home refresh.

We are thrilled to inform you that Thybony Interiors, a name synonymous with exceptional service and for carrying premium décor as well as an extensive line of Benjamin Moore paint, has officially joined the JC Licht family! 

As we approach year-end, we will be completing inventory at all of our locations during the next three Sundays. Below is our list of store closures for each Sunday. Thank you for your patience, and please use our store locator tool to find another nearby JC Licht if your regular store is closed.

On July 25, 40 kids, ages seven to nine, from the Boys & Girls Club of Chicago enjoyed a Retail Work Experience Day at JC Licht True Value in Chicago’s West Loop. The educational day included an orientation followed by rotating activity stations.

Episode 017!  We have Elliot Greenberg, the Owner, CEO, President and man behind the success of the JC Licht paint and decorating stores around Chicagoland!

The JC Licht Schaumburg team offered up a helping hand to GiGi’s Playhouse. JC Licht donated some paint to help freshen up their Hoffman Estates location at 2350 West Higgin Road.

After our efforts to collect hurricane relief donations working with the city of Aurora Police and Fire Departments, we felt the need to do more. We contacted an organization called Rescate Mi Isla (Rescue my Island).Working with them, we spent our 15 days on the island of Puerto Rico assisting the municipalities of Camuy and Quebradillas.

Two giant butterflies are perched on one wall at Joliet’s Bicentennial Park. These 12-foot- by- 7-foot painted butterflies are the result of a contest Sandy Gerrettie entered one day. J.C. Licht in Joliet donated all the paint – 16 quarts of it.

JC Licht is committed to bringing its home fashions customers the latest trends in window treatments, fabric, wall coverings and color. In order to do this, JC Licht regularly conducts training seminars.
