Patterns and Colors Built to Feel Like They've Always Been There
Every month our design team looks across what's new from our vendor partners and tells you what's actually worth specifying. This month's throughline: materials with a sense of history, and a palette pulled from the ground up rather than off a trend board.
Thibaut is reworking Arts and Crafts botanicals with new restraint. Carl Robinson is doing plaid like it's a family heirloom, not a costume. York's Candice Olson line is proving performance wallcovering doesn't have to look like it. And our own Color of the Month leans into the same instinct: warm, earthy, a little nostalgic — a palette that reads like retreat, not like a trend. Here's what we're specifying and why.
Coastal Path — AF-380
Earthy and golden, Coastal Path evokes the warmth of late summer landscapes. Rich yet approachable, this hue adds depth and glow — bringing a grounded, nature-inspired energy into the home.
New This Month, From Three Very Different Directions

Fairhaven
Thibaut reimagines Arts and Crafts botanicals here with fresh color and a lighter hand — pattern that reads as heritage rather than costume. It's the collection to reach for when a client wants texture and history in a room without it tipping into pastiche. Early read from our team: it layers especially well against the warmer neutrals in this month's color palette.

Natural Haven
Like a breath of fresh air, Fabricut's natural look echoes the serenity and peacefulness of the world around us. Leafy Greens, Nuanced neutrals, and refreshing aquas ground interiors with an earthy allure while classic checks and stripes mingle with botanical designs and more to create dimensional layers for a haven within the home.

Highlands
Every pattern in this collection is built like it's meant to be inherited, not just installed — plaid and check with real weight and intention rather than a seasonal nod to "cabin." Best suited to dens, libraries, and the kind of room a client wants to feel like it's already lived-in on day one.

Luminous
A high-performance wallcovering line that manages to combine durability with real luxury — the kind of spec that holds up in high-traffic spaces without looking like it was chosen for that reason. Worth a look for hospitality-adjacent residential projects, or any client who wants longevity built in from the start.

Patricia
"Cedar Key has become my go-to when a client wants warmth but isn't ready for a full color statement — and I've been reaching for Bordeaux Red more than I expected this year, usually somewhere small and unexpected, like a powder room or a front door."

"Gentle Violet reads almost neutral in the right light, which is what makes it work in rooms clients wouldn't normally consider going anywhere near purple. Paired with a Sanderson print, it stops feeling like a risk and starts feeling inevitable."
