The Problem:Deep, irregular cracks resembling dried mud in paint film.
Causes:Can include the application of too much paint, and allowing paint to build in corners. Mud cracking can also occur when paint is subjected to low humidity and flash drying conditions.
How-to-fix:Sand the area until smooth. Prime any bare substrate with a high quality primer-undercoater and allow to dry thoroughly. Finally, coat with a high-quality acrylic latex product, being careful not apply too much paint or allowing paint to pool in corners.
