The design challenge at this home was to cover all the windows, giving privacy and light control while keeping the nature-inspired design throughout. We used deep earthy neutrals and textures to compliment the rustic features of the home and coordinate with the owners existing furnishings. In the master bedroom we used a Modern Rustic York wallpaper made of cork with hints of metallic copper for a dramatic focal wall behind the bed. The wallpaper adds contrast, as well as additional texture to the customers’ existing dark-colored leather headboard. This subtle sparkle created by adding the wallpaper really was the frosting on the cake!
This look can be achieved using Benjamin Moore Aura Matte in color Spice Gold #1040. This warm color accents the natural beauty of the stone fireplace and wood floors.

Walls – This look can be achieved by using Benjamin Moore Aura in Eggshell finish color Plymouth Brown HC-73. The dark paint color used in the tray ceiling helps balance the room and draw your eye up. The cork wallpaper by York adds texture to the nature-inspired theme of this home.

Powder room: This beautiful powder room has a natural woven wood shade from Hunter Douglas.
Silver Mink1586The window shade is our private label cellular shade in a light-blocking fabric. Sheer panels frame the window and adds softness to the feminine décor. The metallic faux finish on the walls created by Design by Stefano. This shimmering look can be achieved with Benjamin Moore Studio Finishes Metallic Glazes and Modern Masters metallic paints. Shimmery walls and soft textured fabrics are used to make a glamorous girls’ room.
Glamorous Daughters room: On the window is the HT Simplicity honey comb shade in blackout.
The mock roman-style cornice is by Custom Window Accents. Fabric by RM Coco. Walls – This look can be achieved by using Benjamin Moore Aura Bath & Spa in AC-32 Prismo Dunes. A mock roman-style cornice in an earthy fabric adds texture and interest to the window. A shade could be added if privacy is needed.
Master bath: Cornice is from CWA with RM Coco fabric done in a mock Roman style to top off the window.
